Student Ministry

Welcome to Prosper Students!

We know the teenage years come with many challenges. Our desire is to provide a safe and welcoming place where students can build meaningful friendships while developing a genuine and growing relationship with the God who created them. We also partner with parents as students navigate the struggles, questions, and pressures of growing up, encouraging them to live out their faith by learning to love God and love others.

Our Core Values

Fellowship

We want students to develop a genuine relationship with God and meaningful relationships with one another. Through fellowship, students build friendships, encourage and support one another, and grow together in Christ as faith becomes a real part of everyday life.

Discipleship

We believe discipleship is an important part of helping students become rooted in their faith and more like Christ. We encourage every student to join a discipleship group led by caring adult mentors who love Jesus and are committed to walking alongside them as they learn God’s Word, live out their faith, and grow as followers of Christ.

Ownership

We encourage students to take ownership of their faith, developing a personal and lasting commitment to follow Christ. We equip them to share the gospel, participate in student ministry, use their God-given gifts, and serve both the church and the community.

Middle School | 6th–8th Grade

During the middle school years, we help students deepen their relationship with God and build a strong biblical foundation. Through Great Commission Publications (GCP)’s G2R God’s Promise curriculum, students explore the Bible through God’s big story of salvation, discovering who God is, how He has worked throughout history, and how they can respond to His love and purpose for their lives.

High School | 9th–12th Grade

As students enter high school, we encourage them to ask, “What does my faith have to do with the way I live?” Through GCP’s So What? curriculum, students learn to develop a biblical worldview, understand themselves and the world around them through the truth of Scripture, and make everyday choices that reflect their faith in Christ.

Friday Night Program

Every Friday night, students gather to connect with friends, share about their week, and grow together. Using RightNow Media and other quality Christian resources, we explore real-life questions and challenges, helping students learn to think biblically, make wise choices, and live out their faith in everyday life.

Youth Missions

We believe faith grows through serving. Each year, we partner with local nonprofit organizations to give students hands-on opportunities to care for those in need, love God, love others, and serve their community.

Youth Teaching Program

We encourage and equip students to take an active role in teaching and serving within the church. Through hands-on ministry opportunities, they learn to use their God-given gifts, develop responsibility, serve others, and grow as faithful followers of Christ.

Parent Support Group

Parents don’t have to navigate the teenage years alone! We invite you to join our Parent Support Group, where parents can encourage one another, share experiences, learn together, and discover how to raise and guide teenagers God’s way as we support their growth in life and faith.
