Child Dedication

Prosper Fellowship Church rejoices with you and your loved ones as you celebrate the precious gift of your child. We stand on the promise of Psalm 127:3, which reminds us that children are a blessing and a heritage from the Lord. Choosing to dedicate your child is a meaningful step rooted in Scripture and Christian tradition. We encourage you to reflect on these biblical examples of children being dedicated to God:

• Book of 1 Samuel 1:21–28 — Hannah faithfully presents her son Samuel to the Lord.
• Gospel of Luke 2:22–24 — Joseph and Mary bring the infant Jesus to the temple in dedication.

While Scripture does not command a formal dedication ceremony, it clearly emphasizes a parent’s calling to raise children in a Christ-centered home (Deuteronomy 6:7; Ephesians 6:4; Proverbs 22:6). At Prosper Fellowship, our Child Dedication service is designed to support and encourage parents as they embrace both the joy and responsibility of guiding their children in faith.

丰盛恩友堂与您和您的家人一同欢庆您孩子这份宝贵的礼物。我们坚信《诗篇》127:3 所说的应许：“儿女是耶和华所赐的产业，是祂所给的赏赐。” 选择将孩子奉献给主，是一个扎根于圣经和基督教传统的重要决定。我们鼓励您默想以下圣经中将孩子献给神的榜样：

• 撒母耳记上 1:21–28 —— 哈拿凭着信心把儿子撒母耳献给耶和华。
• 路加福音 2:22–24 —— 约瑟和马利亚把婴孩耶稣带到圣殿献给主。

虽然圣经并没有明确命令必须举行奉献礼，但圣经清楚强调父母在敬虔家庭中养育儿女的责任（申 6：7；以弗所书 6:4；箴言 22:6）。在丰盛恩友堂，我们设立儿童奉献礼，旨在帮助每一位父母明白养育儿女的重要性与特权，并在主里承担这份喜乐而神圣的责任。
